Production Operatives/Packer

Labour 24/7 are an employment business acting on behalf of our Bury based client who due to increased business are recruiting for experienced Production Operatives/Packers .

Rates of pay start at £11.44 per hour and can rise to as high as £12 per hour when you are a permanent member of staff and have completed your full training.

Hours of work: 2 shift rotating system
Monday-Thursday 7.00am-3.30pm Friday 7.00am-1.00pm
40 minute break total per day. 39 hour paid working week
Our client is a leading manufacturer of food packaging products.
Candidates will be stood by a packaging machine, collecting lids from the machine and packing into bags or boxes.
Weighing the products to check correct quantities in the packaging.
This work can be fast paced however you will start training on the slower machines to start with.
To be fully trained to operate 2-3 machines can take up to 6 months. Higher rates of pay as you progress through the training.
Candidates ideally worked in manufacturing/production environment who have a good attention to detail and can focus on a task
