Assembly Operatives

Labour 24/7 are an employment business acting on behalf of our Bolton based client who are currently recruiting for experienced Assembly Operatives to join their growing team. You will be joining a well established team where there is opportunity to learn and broaden your skill set.

Our client is a leading manufacturer of office furniture and are based in the Lostock area of Bolton.
The Assembly department is split into four sections. You will be expected to learn and work across all four sections. Within Assembly you will be using compressed air hand tools. For further job description please get in contact with us.

There are great career prospects within the Assembly department. You will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills across all Assembly functions working your way up the skill pay grades. Within our Assembly department, we do require some trained personnel on Forklift Trucks and Pedestrian Pallet Trucks which the company will pay for you to attend if you are interested.

Salary

Starting within the Assembly department you will be paid a standard rate of £11.44 per hour.
If taken on permanent and working as a General Operative, this will increase to £12.50 per hour.
The earning potential within the Assembly department can range from £11.44 to £12.50 per hour.

Working Hours

Within the Assembly department, you will be required to work 40 hours per week Monday through Friday.

Monday to Thursday 07:15 – 16:00

Friday 07:15 – 13:15

You are entitled to a paid 15-minute paid break in the morning and a 30-minute unpaid lunch break in the afternoon.

Overtime is available within the department during busy times, this is payable at an enhanced rate. It is encouraged that you do support the business with overtime. The amount of overtime you commit to is taken into consideration when our client are offering permanent contracts.

40 Hours: Standard Rate. £10.42 per hour

40 – 48 Hours Paid at 1.5

48+ Hours Paid at Double Rate £19.00 per hour
